Opportunities to participate and co-create!
Have you ever wondered how these places connect us? Can our everyday places in Singapore truly build social connection? How do we use these places to move from a simple βhelloβ to forming friendship, trust and care?
Shophouse & Co, in partnership with Temasek Foundation, has been working on a landscape research study focused on community-centred placemaking strategies within Singapore. This research aims to explore how placemaking can serve as a lever to cultivate social capital and strengthen community bonds.
Together with Participate in Design and Scott Brownrigg, we are bringing together individuals and organisations from the non-profit, ground-up, social, urban and built environment, philanthropy, local businesses, arts, culture, education sectors, as well as those who share an interest in this study.
Join us in a community-led inquiry into how we turn our everyday environments into scenes and nodes for many powerful small interactions β storytelling, partnership building, and collective care.
Hear community stories from invited panellists and engage in a session of fun and interactive discussion. Your voice will be important in helping us understand the challenges and opportunities of citizen-led placemaking.
