About the Project

We joined Shophouse & Co and the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY) to collaborate on a masterplan to revive Somerset Belt, Orchard’s youth-centric shopping and recreation district. Youths from throughout Singapore were able to share their feedback on the current Somerset Belt and give ideas for what might interest them in spending more time there. Throughout the process, we co-hosted pop-ups, a hack-a-thon, a prototype day and a travelling exhibition in order to speak with as many youths as possible.
