About the Project
We continued our community kitchen series with a new engagement in Telok Blangah. The engagement process aimed to understand the feelings, lifestyles and perceptions of the seniors first, before co-designing the kitchen together.
This project brings together senior residents and stakeholders from the Telok Blangah Crescent community in the planning and design of a senior wellness centre at Blk 28, Telok Blangah Crescent. Most of the residents in the area stays in rental flats and are mostly from the lower income community. As part of the project, a participatory design approach was taken through use of tangible models, visual boards, and multi-lingual workshops. with the residents and stakeholders to co-create and understand the needs and aspirations of the community and stakeholders.
