About the Project
The void deck of Block 7 Telok Blangah is regularly used by Montfort Care Centre as an activity space for the seniors residing in the vicinity. Through a series of chit-chat sessions with the seniors and staff, we co-created a Community Living Room in the void deck space by painting various subjects from the seniors’ nostalgic memories of the neighbourhood, with the help of an artist and our Friends of P!D network of volunteers. A soup cart was also designed to facilitate the ‘Share a Pot’ programme, where seniors share a pot of soup after every activity.
