About the Project
Alongside our community partner at Fajar Spring Pacific Activity Centre (PAC), we co-created this community kitchen, as part of the National Council of Social Services’ Our Kitchen Programme. Members of the centre took part in the design process from initial conversations about their daily habits and routines to a community design workshop and prototyping sessions. These participants shared about the need for a flexible, open space for room to host the variety of activities that were important to them throughout the week. The community kitchen now brings seniors together by hosting cooking sessions through Our Kitchen Programme.
