As part of Pei Hwa Secondary's school effort to include their student body in the redesigning of school space, P!D was engaged to conduct a workshop on Participatory Design approach in the hopes to inspire the student councillors to use the approach in their engagement activities. 

Workshop activities included a sharing of our past projects, tips and methods to conduct community engagement and a brainstorming session where the student councillors were tasked to think of ideas to redesign their common student space. 

The workshop showed us the potential of working with students and how much they can contribute to the decision-making process of the design of school spaces instead of transforming these spaces without consulting the students.

The half-day workshop was a joint collaboration between P!D and Pei Hwa Secondary.
